Yes!
Aliyapp is completely free for all users, including Olim, volunteers, and partner organizations. It’s part of our mission to build a connected and welcoming community.
Yes! Aliyapp supports multiple languages, allowing you to connect with volunteers and community members who speak your language. Even if the platform's interface does not yet support your language, you can indicate additional languages you speak to find the best match for you.
Currently, there is no direct messaging between users on the platform. Connections are made through Aliyapp’s matching system, and communication begins only when the volunteer approves the connection. Additionally, Olim and volunteers can join a WhatsApp community where they can share knowledge and support in real-time.
Aliyapp is currently a web-based platform, but you can save it to your phone or computer for quick access, making it function like an app.
For iPhone (Safari):
1. Open Aliyapp in Safari.
2. Tap the Share icon.
3. Scroll down and select Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap Add, and you're done!
For Android (Chrome):
1. Open Aliyapp in Chrome.
2. Tap the Menu (three dots).
3. Select Add to Home Screen.
4. Confirm, and Aliyapp will appear on your home screen.
For Desktop (Chrome or Edge):
1. Open Aliyapp in Chrome or Edge.
2. Click the Install Aliyapp prompt in the address bar (or find it in the menu).
3. Confirm installation, and Aliyapp will appear as a shortcut on your desktop.
Aliyapp is a platform designed to help new olim integrate into Israeli society. It connects them with experienced volunteers who provide personalized support. Through our app, users can access vital information and guidance tailored to their needs.
Aliyapp was developed by The Jewish Agency for Israel, leveraging decades of experience in supporting new Olim. The platform combines advanced technology and community-building to enhance the integration process for Olim.
